Our company operates a social networking website focussed around dining
and eating out.

The Role:
We're looking for a talented Ruby on Rails developer to join the team to
develop web, mobile and Facebook applications.

Required skills – do you:
Have an enthusiatic approach?
Thrive on a challenge?
Enjoy working in an exciting, young and inspirational team?
Have over 4 years commercial development experience?
Have affinity with Ruby on Rails, HTML, Client and server-side
Javascript and SQL?
Capable of mastering new programming languages quickly?
Have the skill to pick the best/fastest tools for the job in hand?
Have experience of MySQL and dealing with large volumes of data (10s of
millions of records)?
Have experience of NoSQL solutions, ideally MongoDB or something similar
(we are going to turn 10s of millions of records into 100s of millions)?
Class as a Linux all rounder, capable of diagnosing, and curing problems
on remote servers using SSH?
Have experience of launching new servers and configuring from scratch?
Have experience of Git, Subversion and Capistrano?
Have experience of developing mobile applications?

Desired skills
Java, C++ & Objective C.
Experience with the Facebook API would be highly beneficial.
