We have an immediate need for a Ruby Developer for a 12 month contract in Broomfield, CO. This role will be supporting our Netflow Analytics solution from collection and analysis to reporting.
Job Responsibilities:
- Audit data integrity, identify and run down issues to resolution
- Develop custom reporting for stakeholders
- Train users on the solution
- Field questions from users
Desired Skills and Experience:
- A sound understanding of telecommunications and data networking principles.
- Good troubleshooting skills and methodologies.
- Experienced in analyzing issues, distilling and communicating their relevant aspects.
- Ability to work multiple efforts and projects in parallel.
- Ability to proactively identify risks/issues and develop recommendations for resolution.
- Knowledgeable on BGP and Netflow (Hands on experience with switches and routers a plus)
- Skilled coder in Perl, Ruby, & Python
- Experience supporting carrier-scale IP networks is highly desirable
- Experience with IPV6
