[Rails] #run_callbacks(:commit) is not sparking `after_create_commit`

Not sure if I'm doing something wrong but here's the test:

    fit "receives callback" do
      expect(subject).to receive(:absentee_reservation_email)
      subject.run_callbacks(:commit)
    end

it runs with:

after_commit :absentee_reservation_email

and fails with:

after_create_commit :absentee_reservation_email
