I'm on-board with this one, especially because it's convenient to add
a descriptor of effect of the update or the status of the app by
virtue of the update.. That's a biggie.

The B'more on Rails local users group just did a nice presentation on
it aimed simultaneously at Cuc-newbies and -vets. It's short-listed
also, and the presenters are friends, so I got local help should it be
needed.
