The ideal Consultant will join a quickly growing agile team in the
development of a new web product that is targeted for Beta launch
within an aggressive time-frame. My client is looking for an
experienced hands-on Ruby on Rails developer who has experience with
leveraging Rails best practices and is willing to find a path to
success by researching and recommending alternatives when faced with
challenging situations.

o Bachelor's Degree or plus if have advanced degree in Computer
Science, Engineering or related field
o -Ruby on Rails development and plus if have architecture experience
o -Nginx, Mongrel, GIT, Capistrano, Memcached and other services
supporting Rails
o -Central in the development of at least 1 ROR production system
o -Applies OOD and Design Patterns to software design & problem
solving
o -Tackled clustering/caching, threading and performance issues
o -Worked in a fast paced agile environment with continuous
integration, unit/integration/load/performance testing
o -RDBMS experience including schema design and content modeling
o -Strong command of web standards and best practices
