Expertus is looking for Project Lead in Ruby on Rails, The candidate should be technically strong in ROR.  Position is in Chennai.

Job Description: Responsibilities

• Write back-end and front-end code in Ruby On Rails, HTML/CSS, and Javascript
  Implement new features and optimize existing ones from controller-level to UI
• Strong MySQL/Oracle database expertise
• Work closely with, and incorporate feedback from product management, support team, interaction designers, and core engineers
• Architect, design, implement, and maintain Ruby on Rails-based tools and infrastructure components
• Rapidly fix bugs and solve problems
• Pro-actively look for ways to build a world class collaborative web platform

Qualifications

• Demonstrable experience in designing and building consumer web applications
• Solid Javascript/HTML/CSS/Ajax coding skills
• Expert programming skills in Ruby On Rails, Java
• Experience in test driven development and pair programming
• Strong command of web standards, CSS-based design, cross-browser compatibility
• Knowledgeable foundation in interaction design principles
• Great communication and documentation abilities

Desired Skills

• BS or MS in Computer Science or equivalent, relevant work experience
• Hands on experience in architecting web application on a Rails stack
