Ruby on Rails Tuesday, July 24, 2012

Hello everyone!

I just realized I hadn't alerted the community at large via the mailing lists of our event this year.  MagicRuby 2012 (presented by GitHub) will be happening on October 5 and 6, 2012 inside Disney's Hollywood Studios Theme Park® at the Premier Theatre.  Our registration is open now (available at http://magic-ruby.com) and our CFP is open for one more week.  Submit a talk now to the only conference where you can expense a trip to Disney World! ;)

This is our second year running, and we're glad to welcome back EnvyLabs as a sponsor along with 8th Light as a newcomer.  The conference this year is shaping up to be really great: we have a great crop of talks forming up, fantastic keynotes, and did I mention we'll be inside a freaking theme park?  You'll be mere steps from the awesome attractions and great food in the park.  Maybe you can run out for a quick run through Toy Story Mania™ between talks or catch Muppet Vision 3D!™ at the tail end of the lunch break.  Who knows?  Either way, you and I both know it'll be awesome.

Register now for only $199 and receive admission to the conference, a 2 day ticket to Hollywood Studios (that's right: after the conference is over for the day, you'll be able to enjoy the park and all it has to offer), a conference t-shirt, and did we mention two days in Disney World?

If you have any questions, head over to the website (http://magic-ruby.com) where we may have answered them already; otherwise, feel free to ping me off-list.  I'll be happy to answer anything (including sponsorship inquiries!).

Thanks!
Jeremy and the MagicRuby team
