Thanks for your reply. I tried your suggestion but get the same error.

<%= link_to 'My Appointments',
appointment_path(current_user.appointment.last) %>


It seems to be in the set_appointment method in the controller

# Use callbacks to share common setup or constraints between actions.
def set_appointment
@appointment = Appointment.find(params[:id])
end
